I read that if you cross a gold cockerel with a silver hen the chick will be gold if its a hen and silver if its a cock. Elphan Elvis our gold partridge Dutch bantam was crossed with silver star our silver Dutch hen before we knew they had CRD.
and the offspring was a gold hen and a silver cock.
the silver cock was called silver shadow.
I compared a photo of a silver partridge cock and a yellow partridge and realized silver shadow was a yellow partridge Dutch bantam cock.
